The "Multi-Salon Profitability report" is a detailed report that compares profitability data across all of your salons. You'll find it within the "Manager" section of the main menu. Just click "Company report", then "Company profitability" and finally "View analysis".

The "Multi-Salon Profitability report" is divided into 3 areas:

  • Breakdown by type

  • Gender breakdown

  • Services breakdown

There are also filters for "Period" and "Sector" to personalise and make the data analysis even more targeted, depending on your needs.

Please note: In the report, there's an additional filter called "Select salons" which you can use to specify which of your venues you'd like to include in the data set. By default, the filter selects all the salons in the account. Selecting a single salon refreshes the page and shows the "Single Salon Profitability report".

Breakdown by types

When you open the page, you'll immediately see the breakdown panel by type divided into 2 columns:

  • Revenues and visits

  • Visits and frequencies

At the top of these two sections, 2 main indicators are highlighted, with a graph describing their trend:

  • Total

The sum of the earnings of the selected salons over the set period.

  • Average Spend

The average spend of clients at each appointment in the selected salons. This is calculated automatically by the system by dividing the income of all the selected salons by the number of all the receipts issued in the period.

In addition to these indicators, other detailed items are listed:

Hairdressing Appointments

The number of visits in all the selected salons for which hairdressing treatment was carried out in the period.

Beauty Appointments

The number of visits to all selected salons that received treatment in the Beauty sector in the set period.

Hairdressing Treatment Revenue

The total income from hair treatments for all selected salons in the reporting period.

Revenues from Beauty Treatments

The total income from beauty treatments for all selected salons in the reporting period.

Revenues from Spa & Massage Treatments

The total earnings from spa treatments for all selected salons in the reporting period.

Hairdressing Products Revenue

The sum of the revenue from the sale of hair products for all selected salons in the reporting period.

Revenue from Beauty Products

The sum of revenue from the sale of products in the Beauty category for all selected salons in the reporting period.

Revenue from Spa & Massage Products

The sum of revenue from the sale of spa products for all selected salons in the reporting period.

Revenue from Promotions

The sum of earnings from the sale of promotional offers for all selected salons in the reporting period.

Average Spend: Hairdressing

The average client spend for each hair treatment carried out in the selected salons. This is calculated automatically by the system by dividing the revenue from hair salon treatments in all the selected salons by the number of all receipts, containing at least one hair salon service, issued in the period under review.

Average Spend: Beauty

The average client spend for each beauty treatment carried out in the selected salons. This is calculated automatically by the system by dividing the revenue from beauty treatments in all the selected salons by the number of all receipts containing at least one beauty service issued in the period under review.

Average Spend: Spa & massage

The average client spend for each spa treatment carried out in the selected salons. This is calculated automatically by the system by dividing the revenue from spa treatments in all the selected salons by the number of all receipts, containing at least one service from the spa sector, issued in the period under review.

Hairdressing Frequency

The average frequency (in days) with which a client of the selected salon books a treatment in the hairdressing sector. This is calculated automatically as the average of the booking frequencies of each client for treatments in the hairdressing sector during the period under review. The booking frequency of each individual client is calculated as the average of the intervals (in days) between the different appointments of the client.

Beauty Frequency

The average frequency (in days) with which a client in the selected salons' books a treatment in the beauty sector. It is calculated automatically as the average of the booking frequencies of each client for treatments in the beauty sector during the period under review. The booking frequency of each individual client is calculated as the average of the intervals (in days) between the different appointments of the client.

Average Spend: Hairdressing Products

The average client spend for the purchase of products in the hairdressing category in the selected salons. It is calculated automatically by dividing the total revenue from the sale of products in the hairdressing sector by the number of all receipts issued containing a transaction in this category, in the selected period.

Average Spend: Beauty Products

The average client spend for the purchase of products in the beauty category in the selected salons. It is calculated automatically by dividing the total revenue from the sale of products in the beauty sector with the number of all receipts issued, containing a transaction in this category, in the period under review.

Product Revenues: Other

The sum of revenue from the sale of products that do not belong to the hairdressing, beauty or spa categories for all selected salons in the period under review.

Amount pending

The total value of amounts not collected by the selected salons during the reporting period.

Gender breakdown

In this subsection, various profitability indicators are analysed in detail, dividing the data between female and male clients.

Revenue

The total earnings of the selected salons over the reporting period.

Total Visits

The sum of all admissions to the selected salons that resulted in a sale during the reporting period.

New Clients

The number of clients who visited one of the selected salons for the first time in the specified date range.

Average visit frequency

The average frequency (in days) with which a client of the selected salons' books a treatment. It is calculated automatically as the average of the booking frequencies of each client during the period. The booking frequency of each individual client is calculated as the average of the intervals (in days) between the client's different appointments.

New Requests

The number of clients who, in the specified date range, visited one of the selected salons for the first time, requesting the service of a specific employee.

Total Requests

The number of clients who, in the specified date range, visited one of the selected salons requesting the service of a specific employee.

Average spend

The average client spend for each appointment in the selected salons. This is calculated automatically by dividing the takings of all the selected salons with the number of all the receipts issued in the period under examination.

% of Total Treatments

The percentage of treatments by gender of all treatments carried out in the salon. This is calculated by dividing the number of treatments referred to male or female clients and the total number of treatments carried out by the selected salons in the period under review.
