A voucher is a perfect promotion to offer as a gift for loyal customers or to entice new customers to visit your salon. The voucher can be applied to the customer directly during the payment - it's not visible in the Treatwell online marketplace.

How to create a voucher

To create a voucher, first go to the "Promotions" section of the side menu and select the "+" icon (or the "create a new one" link in the centre of the screen).

From the 'Add new promo' window, click on 'Voucher' to open the edit page.

To create and personalise your voucher, you can enter the following information:

  • Voucher name: the name chosen for the promotion.

  • Type and value: the value of the voucher and the treatments/products you can use it on. You can also decide whether to make the promotion valid with only one team member.

  • Activation: the period during which the voucher can be activated.

  • Validity: the period in which the voucher can be used, the maximum number of uses and the expiry date.

After entering all the required data, click on the 'Continue' button at the bottom of the page to create the voucher. All features of the voucher can be changed at a later date by clicking on the 'Edit' button next to each entry.

How to associate the voucher with a customer

To apply the voucher to a specific customer, you will need to follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the "Cash" section in the Treatwell Pro menu.

  2. Select the customer concerned from the list or press the "+" button.

  3. Click on "Subscriptions and Promos" and then on the "+" icon.

  4. Select the voucher from the list and press "Activate".

How to disassociate a voucher from a customer

In order to disassociate a voucher from a customer, you need to go to the 'Promotions' section. Select the promo from the list and click on the 'Active Clients' button at the top right, locate the customer's name and click on the recycle bin to delete it.

How to delete a voucher

To delete a voucher you have just created or previously saved, you will need to access the "Promotions" area of the side menu, search for the promo from the list on the side and click on the red "Delete" button at the top left of the screen.

Please note: Before deleting, it is advisable to check for any customers associated with the promo and deactivate them.
