You can make the most of our free automated appointment reminders and confirmations to remind clients about their upcoming bookings and allow them, should something come up, to cancel or reschedule their treatment in time. This means less admin work for you and more happy clients.
How to send appointment confirmations automatically
To activate appointment confirmations, you need to access the "Profile" section of Treatwell Pro and the "Settings" tab.
Scrolling down the page you'll see the "Notifications" box, where you can toggle the switches on or off relating to the following options:
Send push notifications
Send confirmation emails
Once you've chosen your preferred options, click on "Save" to activate them.
Please note: From June 2024 onwards, Treatwell will no longer be sending SMS booking confirmations to customers. In today's digital age, SMS has become somewhat outdated, and we've listened to feedback from our customers who express a strong preference for email and push notifications as their primary means of communication.
How to send automatic appointment reminders
After following the same instructions as above, you'll see another set of toggles further down the page which control your appointment reminders.
You can choose to activate one or more reminder options:
Send push notifications
Send reminder emails
Send SMS reminders
As well as the sending mode, Treatwell Pro’s reminder function can be further customised by specifying:
"When" (how long before the appointment to send the reminder): 24 or 48 hours before, 1 hour before, the morning of the same day or the evening of the day before.
"Sender's name": the name that your notifications are sent using. Your salon name is a good option.
Once you’re happy with the changes you’ve made, press the "Save" button.
